When will West Side Story be out on BD or HD DVD? Hope it's on BR.

It's an MGM title so it'll be on BD but it has yet to be announced. I wouldn't hold your breath though, it's not really an early adopter type film

It has not been announced but when it wil, fox is BD only.

However, MGM has announced some catalog titles that go back to the 60's like The Graduate and Some Like it Hot, so I'd say it's a strong possibility. It probably could use a new transfer though, so we'd likely have to wait for a new DVD edition.

They're Universal titles, so they would be on HD DVD for now. Psycho was mentioned as a possible upcoming title.

well, I was impressed with some of the titles name dropped recently (Sound Of Music, Mr Smith)- those are more along the lines of the kinds of movies I want to own in a permanent collection as is WSS. Tho I did just upgrade SOM recently via the R&H box set and was frankly a little disappointed in how it looked.
