I have a quick question. Do those of you who use use vertical and/or horizontal lens shift see ANY degradation in the quality or clarity of the image? I am considering putting a Z5 or AX100 in a setup that currently has no offset so if I put this projector in the same place I will have to use the vertical lens shift at about 50% of the image height. Basically do you think this level of lens shift will affect the image? Any help would be appreciated?

Only at the extremes of shift. Some shift is fine - esp. considering that normal ceiling or tabletop installs need vertical shift to be employed.
