My High-Def DVR has a DVI output. I'm currently using its component outputs, feeding the signal to a JVC HD-56FN97. I was wondering if it would be worth it to get a DVI-HDMI cable for better pic quality?

I looked at them at monoprice.com and they're online like $5 so it wouldn't be a huge loss even if the pic quality didn't improve at all.

Yes, it will be an upgrade. Go for it, you should notice around a 10-20% increase but more importantly, you will remove all signal degradation and interference of the analog component signal.

Thanks! Just ordered a 3 foot cable from monoprice for $7.22 including shipping. Not a bad investment! :)
