Does anyone know whether the Sony 5200ES allows remote control through the serial port? Is there documentation somewhere?
The point is that I love the looks of the Harmony 1000, but not the price. Meanwhile, a WiFi enabled PDA with touchscreen, talking to a simple web app on a HTPC, could easily drive something through a serial port.
