Does anyone play this?

I know everyone bashes this game but this is one of my favs so far of the launch titles. The graphics are beautiful.

Anyway...just looking to see who online plays this so if I am around I can look one of you up.

I just hate it though when you play online and someone picks a team with an excellent 3 pointer and that is all they do repeatedly. Makes winning kind of hard to play fairly then.

All the more reason to switch to 2k7, I had this game but I sold it after being very disappointed.

I can see why people would like this game if their not really into basketball. Other than that, this game has WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAyyyy to many flaws.

i loved this game...as a fan of nba live 07, i'm just glad there's finally a game that everyone can agree on as being WORSE than live 07...

really though, it was terrible. what's up with a sports game released in late 2006 that doesn't have sliders to adjust gameplay???

I agree with you - it looks awesome and plays quick and fluid. So many haters all over this board, well just about every board on the net for that matter. I think it makes feel good to bash.

If you want to reduce the 3-point shooting issue play on the highest level of difficulty (Hall of Fame) and you won't see as much 3-point shooting going on.

Play NBA 2k7 and this game and give your honest review on both...

I'm sure you'll realize why everyone likes 2k7 better.

I've played both and I like NBA '07 better.

2K7 does a better job of spacing and running the lanes on fast breaks, but the controls make it seem like you are stuck in mud. It is difficult to drive one on one and get to the rim. They MAKE you fall down. Plus no shot meter means no feedback. Also their free throw shooting system is horrendous.

NBA 07 definitely has its issues. Particularly with AI spacing and getting back on D and the 3 point shooting online that was mentioned earlier. But it looks great. The characters look much better than 2K7 and some of the dunks are really cool - especially the alley oops. It feels better than 2K7.

Just my opinion...

I have not played BA 2K7 but rajasol does a pretty good job of summing up what I heard about the game

Weird, I hated NBA07. I wasn't impressed with the graphics at all and though the game play was horrible compared to 2k7

I thought NBA 07 proved even in 1080p if a game has crappy physics/graphics its still crap. Just my opinion though Just my opinion though.

not to mention that all player models are wrapped in plastic. oooh so shiny!

NBA07 in 1080P Gets my vote for Best looking BBall Game.
2k7 has some scary looking faces. Example-Jason Williams . Car Wreck?
