Does anyone live in an apartment complex and have Verizon Fios? I am just wondering how they go about doing the wiring for an entire apartment complex? Once it is available here in NJ, I am going to change over.

It depends on the size of the unit. On smaller MDU's(Multiple dwelling units), an MDU ONT will be installed in a central location and use MoCa technology to send data and video through existing building coax. In larger units, fiber may be fished between floors and ONT's installed in more areas. There would be a fiber hub just outside or possibly inside the building, This would also be the obvious choice if there are several phone/cable rooms per unit.

Did you mean "...possibly inside the building"? Or, did you mean "...possibly inside the apartment"?

The hub I'm speaking of is where Verizon would connect the light to individual ONT's or MDU ONT's. Although I have yet to see any apartment buildings completed, I havent seen anything indicating that there would be any aditional wiring/components installed in the apartment itself. If there isnt any available (or usable) coax, then that would probably be delt on in an individual basis in cooperation with the buiding mgt.

So, it's still "Cable TV" to the apartment (RF and Coax)?

Well I guess you could say that to an extent. The fiber ends at the ONT where it is converted to RF (coax) for the video. This is the same for all FIOS regardless if it is an apartment, house, condo, business, etc...
