Here's my deal. I was sick of dealing with our only cable company and decided to try Dish Network. I have a HDTV and four regular tvs. I ordered the HDTV package with local channels. I know that I won't get local channels in High Def without a HDTV antenna. But I have no idea what to get. Ideally, I'd love to get both the Baton Rouge and New Orleans stations - even the non-high def ones. We know nothing about antennas or even setting them up. We saw this online and were thinking of ordering it.

Terrestrial Digital
DB8 Multidirectional
HDTV Antenna

Can anyone help me out here - in the simplest terms. Think "Antennas for Dummies"

When I look on antennaweb I get this:

I would suggest you try posting in the Baton Rouge OTA Thread (http://www.avsforum.com/avs-vb/showthread.php?p=9612476#post9612476). It looks like your much closer to BR, maybe Port Vincent/French Settlement? Post your Antennaweb.org results but select digital channels only. This provides a much simpler format. On Antennaweb.org, try selecting options and add a few hundred feet to the antenna height to get more useful information. You will certainly get good advice in the BR thread.
