Warner Music Canada made an exciting announcement at their exclusive theatrical screening of Madonna's Confessions Tour DVD in Toronto tonight!
Warner reps announced that they are in the process of remastering and re-releasing Madonna's entire CD catalogue in 5.1 digital audio!
No date is set yet for these releases, but stay tuned to Madonnatribe.com for more info!

I would most definitely buy Maddy titles on hi res if they ever do that.
Assuming these come out on DVD-Audio, then I'll take the lot...

Er, yes, but since there seems to be no DVD-A support coming anytime soon for my A1, I'd like to see some music coming out in TrueHD.
I wouldn't hold your breath. Anyone seriously interested in surround music will have a DVD-Audio+SACD player, and those not seriously interested will happily play the Dolby Digital or DTS track off the DVD-A compatibility zone. By releasing on HD-DVD or Blu-ray, they'd be excluding most of the audiophiles, as well as most of the general public. And surround music is a hard enough sell as it is...
I'm sure you'll see quite a few TrueHD concert, and later pop-video discs in the near future, and they'll be sold on the basis of the HD video content, but I don't think you'll be seeing any audio-only HD-DVDs or BDs in the near future.
