Which Oppo is the best to get? I don't mind the difference in price, just want to upconvert to 720p for use on my 103" screen . Will be run to HDMI input on receiver.

A screen that big, I think you'd have to try the Faroudja chip for better deinterlacing and smoother scaling. Either the 971 (DVI->HDMI cable) or the 981 (HDMI native). The 971 is no longer in production, but Oppo still supports it. -Bill |
