Would anyone happen to know what is the size of the four screws that are needed to fit in the back of the Panasonic TH-50PX6U so that you can use a third party wall mount? The Panasonic web site only says that they are 8M thread type. I purchased 8Ms but they don't fit. They only start to thread and then just stop.

Didn't the Panny come with screws? If not, why not call them and ask what size they are? You could also ask them to just send you 4 of them.

I bought 8M's and they fit perfectly. However there are two thread types (how close together the threads are. I think the one I bought is 1.25 or 1.5, not 1. That might be your problem. Also, it goes as far as 45mm into the hole so thats how long you should buy them (40mm, or 50mm if youre gonna go through a spacer)

Just double check pebbles. If you are just threading them by hand, they will stop turning after a few turns. But with a wrench or ratchet they will easily continue turning all the way in. This happened with my TH-42PX600U.
