Hi

New here so apologies if incorrect forum.

I have a Logik LCXW32HD1, 32" LCD, to which has gone into a split screen
mode, with a split down the middle top to bottom.

What is more wierd is that the image on the left hand side of the screen appears
to be mirrored but the image on the right is fine.

The problem is that this tv doesnt have a split screen mode ?

This problem started 2 days ago when my daughter turned on the tv and think stood on the remote !!, ive tried every concievable button combination to turn this of but it wont go.

It is not an input problem, as with no inputs it does this.

Any idea ?

Mark

I have this problem too with the same model TV.

I switched it off last night fully working with proper picture and non of the remote buttons were touched.

I'd appreciate it if you could post the solution, if you found it.

If it is still in warranty I would suggest taking it back and getting another brand.

Yeah, I've only had the TV for 2 weeks.

I'm almost certain that this is actually a fault, as opposed to accidentaly switching on a "feature", as there's no reason why this would be useful as a feature.

Highly annoying.

OK, I had an "engineer" look at my TV today. He said had never seen this kind of fault before and didn't attempt to fix anything with the remote.

I've also been trying for hours for the past few days to no avail.

I recieved a an exhange note which allows me to take the tv back to the store to get another of the same brand. Hopefully the next one won't do the same.

Could it be the PIP set up as a 50/50 screen only both images are of the same channel???? My old set had a number of visual variations of PIP and yes, they can be set to the same channel.

This model of the TV doesn't support 50/50 PIP.

In effect, it wasn't another picture. The left half of the screen was simply split and mirrowed horizontally. The whole picture was halved. It wasn't the same picture in each half. i.e something that was meant to be in the centre was at the far left of the left half.

If this helps, before the problem occured I watched a movie on CD-R on a Japanese NTSC Playstation 3. The problem didn't occur until I switched the TV on 2 days later. This may or may not relate to the problem, though I'd be very hesitant in doing the same again with my new TV (same model).

Is there a setting for factory defaults you can try?

I have a replacement TV now.

There were no details anywhere about factory reset. I looked through the manual and search online for hours.

Hi, I'm new on the here, have looked around for an answer and have not found it, so apologies if this question has being already posted.

I have a Logik lcxw32hd1 LVD TV, the images has split vertically in two; the right side of the screen shows the left side of the image, while the left side shows the right side of the image but mirrored. This not only when i turn on the DTV, but with any source.

I see this was post here long time ago already, but was wondering if by any chance someone new how to fix it.

I got no warranty so i can't take it to Currys... :(

Tks!
