I set up a Samsung 841HD to put out 1080i over component. My Sony XBR2 LCD with the DRC Mode 2 and this look GREAT on DVD movies, but when watching a DVD of animation (Justice League Season 1), there seems to be a problem with the black lines (the outlines drawn in black around a charater's face, an object, etc.) taking a extra second to "lock in". I assume this is the scaling, as once they lock in, they look great. But every time a pan happens, or a scene changes, the brief doubling of the black lines come back for a second. Should I:
1 - make the player put out 480i instead of upconverting
2 - turn off the DRC (this made the picture a lil' soft, but the issue was lesser, but still there)
3 - use mode 1 w/480i or 480p
4 - get a new DVD player (please say no)
Again, movies looked great. The DRC Mode 2 is supposedly for upscaled DVDs.
Thanks
