Can the Elk LCD panel be used to control any type of whole house audio? I see on there LCD panel there is a "Other" button. I wonder if that button could be renamed to "Whole house audio" and can you set it up so that it controls some sort of whole house audio?

If so is there any particular whole house audio that would fit well with the Elk?

The Elk M1 has support for the Russound CAV6.6.

With this you can use Elk Rules to control the music system (turn it off when the alarm is aremed, etc).

You can control the Russound CAV6.6 with Elk's touchscreen or from any PC with the Elk RM software.
