My setup is for 90% home theater. I will be running paradigm inwall speakers 5.1 and a seprate powered sub bic h-100. I will be using a front projector, mitsubishi with 720p native resolution, probably a 132 inch screen. I will probably get a Panasonic SA-XR57 digital receiver. I do not care to convert vcrs to dvd or anything like that though most of these units do this. What I am looking for is one component that upconverts DVDs, plays some old vcrs tapes and has a tuner built in. I want this all to go out through an hdmi output to go to my projector. I have had problems with playback issues on my old sony dvd progressive scan and a samsung unit I got. I then got a panasonic unit and it seems to work very good.

This is my preliminary choice does anyone have any better options or input?
