Hi! Newbie here. I just used HCFR and a Spyder2 for the first time on my Toshiba 72HM196 rear projection DLP TV.
I was able to achieve 2.22 gamma and near perfect D6500 white from 20 IRE to 100 IRE.
The only disappointment is the CIE color measurements. My green appears to be WAY OFF!!!
Please take a look at the attached chart. Can you offer any suggestions? Am I limited because of the shade of color on the DLP color wheel?
I used the Service Menu during my calibration and didn't see anything at all that will help me fix this. There is a baseband tint, which will help some with the secondary colors when used with the regular tint. Other than that I only have things like RGB Center Contrast, RGB Brightness High and RGB Brightness Low. These appear to only affect grayscale and not color.
Is there anything I can do at all to tone this green down to a better level? Also, if I am stuck with this, where should I try to set Cyan and Yellow with Tint? As close as I can get them to their associated dots?
