I was thinking about this. I noticed that some of the bigger HDDVD are comming to france and the UK on HDDVD only. I don't think they got combo discs either..

So will just the US be getting total HD. If so I could see a surge in HDDVD imports. I'm already trying to figure out how I want to import all the great upcomming discs. The matrix trilogy, dirty harry, harry potter....

Prehapps if the surge is large enough the WB will see this and stop their grand idea..
I could only hope.

I'm all for both formats but I don't want to pay a premium to have a disc I can't yet use. Or for that matter care to use. Even if I do get a BD player ill be buying the better version so if on THD I'd never watch the other side...
