Is VGA best for viewing LCD TV text?

VGA looks better than DVI on my 720p lcd tv. Does anybody have both a VGA input and a DVI input on their display? If so, does VGA look better?

Is there overscan on DVI and not on VGA?

The 30" LCD TV I used before as a monitor looked great through VGA, then after updating my drivers it didnt seem quite right so I tried the DVI and it looked better. but in the end I found with a little tweaking both of them looked pretty much the same.

The real key to making your PC look its best on a HDTV is knowing the native resolution of the TV then outputting that to it. Some TV's will accept resolutions higher than thier native, but it just wont look as good.
