My father recently purchased a HDTV and wants high definition movies. But he hated the Betamax/VHS thing and is holding off until either HD DVD or Blu-Ray reigns supreme. What is a good upscaling DVD player? Being able to record on DVDs would be a plus, but not neccessary.
