I seem to recall that sometime in the 70's there was a company that introduced transducers you mounted to a wall and it was supposed to turn your wall into a very large speaker. Besides obvious structural issues, it was attempted. Anyone know if something like this still exists? Not that I would want to try one, just curious if any might have survived.

I distinctly remember something along those lines debuted at this year's CES. It may have been SHARP or Samsung that had speakers that attach to flat surfaces. If I get time I will see what I can find...
