I Have A Cyberacoustics sub That I havnt used much and At high volumes it starts to go high pitched and ring like a bell is that normal?

the woofer is four inches :rolleyes:

it goos Boooooeeeeeeeeeeeen Boooeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeen Booeeen :p

I think It's funny because my mom says "Turn that noise off" :p

4" isn't a subwoofer, let alone a regular woofer...

Cyber accoustics....I've heard what those sound like, unfortunately :rolleyes:

(no offense to you of course)

The sound you are hearing probably means that 4" woofer probably wasn't designed to play at that volume level.


There are plenty of good relatively cheap subs available in the audio market, we can provide suggestions to you if you would like.

I have a Durabrand Home theatre system which does fine for me!
that waterfall scene in "collateral damage" sounds awsome!
So does hans zimmers score for "the Rock'

The lennox/ durabrand is a inch woofer and it sounds better with its 40 watt amp
the Cyber Acoustics I estimate to be about 20 watts

I never listen to movies that high though
I did the music on the CA Sub without the satilites!
I broke them accidently but I have a pair of Justers as replacements.
