Which would be better for adjusting the color decoder values? I'm satisfied with my grayscale, constrast, black levels, etc...
I just want some opinions on which would be better for color decoding alone.

I'd go with Avia. I've used this on my Sony FD Trinitron XBR, our Sony 3LCD, our LG Plasma,
our Samsung DLP, and our Sony Bravia. The most natural looking picture is plasma and the
FD Trinitron Wega XBR. The DLP, LCD, and 3LCD came close with the color decoding to natural
but it's still a great picture.

I prefer the animated colorbar patterns in Avia which aid with precision. Avia also has the color decoder check pattern. I don't recall if DVE has the same, but I don't think it does.
Cool, looks like it's worth the extra $15.

DVE is THE most frustrating experience in calibration I have ever seen in my life. Stay far away from it!
AVIA is worth an even higher price difference.
