This is not a price oriented forum, but try the usual suspects for getting prices online if all you care about is price. :)

you can get prices online when you know the model to search, it's hard to find review or specifics to understand wich one is the best to use as a monitor, even it's difficult to find site that show you if the screen is 1080p30 or 1080p60.
btw this is not a price oriented forum, but there are thousands post arguing about the price....
i just need some help to understand wich monitor/tv fit for me, only expert can help me, all people can suggest an 10,000$ monitor....

Sharp's LC37D90U can now be gotten for a pretty low price. Another option would be Westinghouse's 37" sets, the LVM-37w1 or the LVM-37w3.

There is really no point to get a 1080p set at 37 inches unless you are planning on sitting REALLY close to the screen and have superman vision.

ptysell, why would you sat that a 1080p set at 37" isn't necessary. Denum clearly stated that he was planning on using the display as a PC monitor. You should understand that most PC monitors have a pixel pitch at or below 0.30 mm. A 37" 1080p has an average pixel pitch around 0.40 mm. If you go with a lower resolution, even at a 32", the pitch increases to about 0.60 mm. The greater the pitch, the grainier the image (or text) will appear. For use as a PC monitor, I wouldn't recommend anything less than 1080p. Though not the cheapest, Sharp's LC32GP1U delivers 1080p in a 32" package.

I am sorry. I will admit that I did not read the full text of his original post. I overlooked that he will be using this primarily as a PC display. If this is the case then I agree to an extent that 1080p is necessary. I would suggest looking at the 30 inch Dell or the 30 inch Apple Cinema Display. These displays are not the cheapest however.
How much are you willing to drop?
i will throw out some models with current retail prices you should be able to get for less.
Sceptre X42GV-NAGA (42 inch) - $1,200
Sceptre X37SV-NAGA (37 inch) - $800
Sharp LC-37GP1U (37 inch) - $1,500
Sharp LC-32GP1U (32 inch) - $1200
Westinghouse LVM-42W2 (42 inch) - $1,200
Those are just a few that I found. If you provide a price range then that will narrow down the options and sizes.
Now if you are using this with an HTCP then that is another story all together.

You can get a Sharp LC32D62 32" 1080p set, but it probably doesn't meet your requirements of being the cheapest. In fact, it's probably the most expensive.
