I want to add a second Sony LCD TV to the same room. I've talked with Sony Tech Support and they say that all of their TVs use the same remote codes. Hence, both TVs will respond to the remote control input.

Any suggestions on how to have two identical model TVs in the same room, located near each other, and be able to control each one with a remote control. I'd like to have Remote-A control TV-A, and Remote-B control TV-B.

I've looked at the WeakKnees IR-to-RF as one possible route.
- TV1 uses original IR remote
- TV2 uses original remote (taped over IR port, IR-to-RF converter, IR blaster)

Any other suggestions...

Hi,

Home Theater Master MX-800 IR/RF remote. You can disable IR and use only RF. The RF base station has 5 or 6 ports for IR emitters. Here is the cool part: You can specify an IR port for each device. One IR emitter on each tv and each tv as a separate device on the remote. Piece of cake.

Make sure you buy from an authorized dealer or getting the software could be extremely difficult. I would suggest surf remote control (http://www.surfremotecontrol.com/) .
