I am having trouble getting my harmony 880 remote to set up correctly to the sony STR-DG800. the Sony AV receiver goes on when prompted but won't go to the correct input (TV or DVD) and the volume controls don't work through the remote. All other components work correctly except the Sony receiver. Can anyone help me?

Are you trying to control the devices in the Activity mode or Device mode?

I'm not familiar with the Sony receivers, but are you sure you selected the correct model number? If you still cannot get the remote to work, why not teach the Harmony the commands you are missing?

I would do as the previous poster stated and make sure the model number is entered correctly in your Harmony setup page.
