Sorry if this has been posted, lots of threads. After comparison and comparison I just picked up a Pioneer 5070 and want to wall mount it can anybody rec a good mount for this unit. I just need the tilt option although I can see myself only tilting it once so I dont really care if it has an adjustable nob. I picked up an AVF tilt mount from costco for $80 on sale, looks good but should there be a concern about quality. I would hate to see the thing hit the floor cuz i tried to save 150 bucks. Thanks for the replies Slats!

I also just received my Pio 5070 from Invision, and need a wall mount. I'm looking for anyone with experience with an articulating mount. I need the screen to remain flat against the wall part of the time, and then fold out with maybe a 20-25 degree angle to the left. Any advise would be greatly appreciated - don't want hang this out in the air without a good feeling about it.
Thanks!

Just make sure that it is compatiable with your size of plasma. For the most part you should be fine. Most universal mounts support the weight of this television. If you install yourself, make sure that the mount is secured tightly to the wall studs.

for just under a C-note (is that pricing?)....although it was not listed under that name. It was generic, but easy to tell the brand from the photo. It tilts and supports 175 pounds or so, more than enough for my 5070. It was pretty fool-proof to install (I know because I installed it)......I'm also a "tilt once" kind of guy, but I think it looks better tilted than totally flat against the wall.

Well I was considering an articulating mount for my 42" samsung 4273. The Magnolia installers said it's possible but they are really uncomfortable with those kinds of install. There is a lot of stress on the points where the mount articulates. Additionally, there's also a lot more stress where the mount attaches to the wall stud.
I went with plan B which was to mount at a different location with a standard vertical/horizontal tilt mount. It turned out to be perfect.

I used the OmniMount U3F (non-articulating, non-tilting) for my 40" Sony LCD and my PDP-5070HD.
