My TV no longer is responding to the remote. I have changed the batteries, tried a universal remote, and was able to test my remote on another unit and it worked fine. I have unplugged it numerous times and even moved it to a different location in the house. The TV powers on fine when you use the button on the TV itself. Once the TV is on you can't change volume, channels, or access the menu. No button has any effect on the TV. The remote itself is working for sure because I used it on my friends TV (same model) and it works great. I called support and they said they would get back to me.

I can change the input, volume, and channels from the front of the unit. The only problem is there is no menu button to change any of the settings.


Has anyone here had this problem or know how to fix it.

Any help would be great.

*Fixed*

Panasonic sent a service tech out to fix my TV today. He had to resolder RM2501, what ever that means. It works fine now. He did not have to replace any parts though.
