I recently acquired a Pioneer PDP-5016HD, I got it as part of Pioneer's clearance promotion on these models. It's a very nice display, and I'm fairly happy with it, except for tearing my hair out trying to get a 1:1 pixel mapping from my HTPC.

The 5016 model has no direct DVI input, so I'm using a DVI cable + a DVI->HDMI adapter. I've played with both an NVIDIA and ATI card, and I have PowerStrip installed and I tried goofing around with that, but I can't figure out how to set a 1365x768 mode that the display will accept.

I've seen some indication that perhaps the Pioneer plasmas do not actually accept their native resolution via HDMI/DVI. Is this true? If so, what's my next best option? I'm currently using 1192x692, which I selected by first setting 1280x720 and then using NVIDIA's overscan correction GUI.

Anyway, any help with this would be most appreciated. Thanks!

Update
Suspecting that my panel would never accept 1365x768 on its HDMI input, I bought another NVIDIA card that does component output and hooked it up that way. I can now set a 1365x768 resolution that displays on the Panel, but it's overscanned and out of focus (looks like perhaps a horizontal sync problem). So I gave up and went back to 1192x692 again.
