View Full Version : Ratchet and Clank PS3 Details and Pics Coming to EGM
Ragnarok 02-06-07, 10:35 AM According to Shane Bettenhousen in a small mention in this weeks EGM podcast (very good show BTW, guest starring two of the makers of the new Ratchet PSP title,) next month's EGM will reveal the new PS3 Ratchet and Clank.
Insomniac Community Relations Manager James Stevenson (who posts at NeoGAF) has been hinting about being excited about Ratchet PS3 in Resistance Clan voice chat, and also wrote a bit about the game in his blog, which was talked about in another post on this forum recently. When asked on the NeoGAF forums whether the EGM article would have "details, pics, or both?" by a poster, JStevenson replied "Both."

danggang 02-06-07, 12:09 PM Yay! I absolutely love the Ratchet and Clank series, and the announcement that a new PS3 title is in the works was the deciding factor for me in purchasing a PS3. Now if only Sucker Punch would develop a Sly Cooper title (my other favorite series) for the PS3...
On a semi-related note, am I the only person who still enjoys platformers? Don't get me wrong, R:FOM was tremendously fun, as is the Motorstorm demo, and Gears Of War really does live up to the hype on the XBOX 360, but for some reason there's nothing I enjoy quite like a good narrative-driven 3D platformer with a sense of humor, creative game play (Sly Cooper shines here), and/or an insane arsenal of weapons (Ratchet). Maybe it's because I'm older (33 years ;) ) that I still delight in the simple pleasures of a good platformer? Regardless, at the end of the day I'm just glad not all games are FPS, sports, or role playing (again, not saying anything bad about those genres!) :) .
