Hi fellow bass-heads,
I was wondering if any of you had any experience with the Rythmik Audio (http://www.rythmikaudio.com) kits and how their output would compare to a SVS PB-10? I realize this is kind of a hybrid DIY/commercial thread but though it would be a break from the same 'ol.
The PB-10 has been quite a performer for me and VERY impressive for its $400 price point. Its performance is pretty well documented. The Rythmik kit is approximately the same price (not including the enclosure).
During the winter months and especially with this latest cold snap, I was looking for a little project for fun. The Rythmik kits are intriguing with their claimed sound quality and extension in small 1.5 - 2 cubic ft enclosures. But, I really know nothing about these kits comparitively speaking and not much more about DIY projects. So, I was hoping someone could give some insight into such a comparison. If they yield greater output I might try a pair as an exercise in woofing. I just don't want to even bother if the output is ridiculously lacking for some reason.
Thanks in advance,
Joe
