Just curious as to how often they add new demos and trailers to the Playstation store? Weekly? Monthly?

I would almost have to say yearly. But seriously, I don't know what the problem is..is it that hard to load new content to the store. Sony is really sleeping when it comes to this, well, pretty much everything having to do with new games. At least the bluray's are rolling out!

Yeah the PS store is really slow right now...I'm wondering if not having a service to pay for is really any better.

It really dosen't seem like it if they release content this slow.

Yeah, I don't know what the problem is right now. If I were them I'd try to get some new content, anything, up as fast as possible, but they just don't seem to care.

I agree, even if they can put some arcade classics on there it would hold people over until some more games are realeased.

pac-man, ms. pac man, space invaders, etc.

They also need to work on getting full surround sound out of their movies/previews.

I would say before that I wouldnt pay for something like the Xbox live, but if the ps store will be like it is, send me a bill because I would most definetly pay something to have it like the Xbox live.

I don't see how being a paid service would help the lack of content on the store. Other areas maybe but the lack of stuff on the store seems to be a combination of a few things. First, not many demos because there aren't many games to demo. Second, someone at the store should wake up and start asking for demos of the games that are coming out. The lack of game specific content doesn't bother me too much. Nothing has been around long enough a really expect an update yet and when updates do come I'm rarely to excited. A couple new maps for Resistance, eh. Movie trailers are nice but I download them watch them once or twice and thats it. I could careless about movie trailers too. Other downloadable games are a mystery. Seems Xbox arcade does well you would think people would want to sell on the PS3 too. Most of these types of games are cheap(er) to make and don't cost anything to sell. The PS1 games for the PSP barely count. I have little interest in them right now and you can't play them on the PS3. Even though the PS3 plays PS1 games so one might think....
Basically my point is "Hey Sony, put some stuff up. We want to buy it!"
Disclaimer: most of this is simply my opinion so take it for what its worth. 2 cents seems to be the going rate.
