I recently purchased a sony kdl 40v2500 and i am wanting advice on the picture settings for the vivid, standard, and more imprortantly custom modes. I am not a tech person and i have experimented somewhat, but i am not happy with my current settings. I know there are people out there that have beat this to death and have come up with what they feel is the perfect settings for these modes. I am patiently awaiting any help! My wife is sick of me constanly making adjustments while we she is watching. Thanks!

you can try going over to the LCD flat panel forum and see if your set is mentioned as far as settings are concerned.
