Just installed Colorfacts 6.0. When I try to launch the C3 remote, I keep getting an error regarding MSFLXGRD.OCX. Error about not being found or not registered. What else do I need to install to remedy this??

Is the serial cable attached to the TV controller box?

Normally the C3 interface does not look right if you are not using standard windows desktop defaults. (ie ... using large fonts or changing the color of stuff on the desktop)

Last ditch effort ... uninstall the program and reinstall.

I did have the dongle in. I don't have a C3 capable TV to test with, I just wanted to bring up the interface to see what it looked like. I expected it to at least come up without any errors. Seems like what it's missing is some kind of VB6 Flex Grid Control file or something of the sort. Could it be because I don't have anything else connected. My expectation would have been for it to come up, then prompt to connect the devices if I attempted to do anything. How should it work with no devices connected?

The error is indicating the file which is missing from your C:\WINDOWS\system32 directory.


Follow the supplied link and you will be able to donwload the missing file to your computer!

I was in the process of just doing the above when I ran across some web page that stated they were a couple other files that had to be installed. I figured maybe i'm missing some package. I'll try just putting the OCX in the system32 and see where it takes me from there. I was just wondering if there was some VB6 runtime package that maybe I should have installed or something.
