I'm experiencing 2 geometry issues

-There's a minor dip on the top line of a widescreen broadcast

-4:3 images flair out at the bottom

Are these type of issues fixable? For any Samsung owners who have had geometry issues how did Samsung treat it?

I think the feeling I've gotten is that manufacturers are more interested in minimizing the depth of their sets at the expense of image quality.

I posted a thread earlier about my s-4666w. The problem that I had was in 4:3 format picture.(not stretched or zoomed)

I have 1/8" differential between bottom and top. Bottom being smaller.

I called samsung and they said if it more than 1/4 of an inch on either side from top to bottom that I should call them back.

For me its not that big of a deal, my wife cant even see it. Since I dont watch that much 4:3 format on the sammy. Only movies and the tv is mostly HD which the majority are in 16x9 anyway.
