Im a Sony SXRD XBR2 owner.. just looking for a cheap way to calibrate the tv. I have never "calibrated" a tv before and do not really want to pay for it done professionally...

Is AVIA worth getting? I did a search on google and came across some Amazon reviews that said AVIA was outdated and was only good for older CRT technology. Would calibrating the TV with AVIA be worthwhile?

A better alternative would be to wait for the HD-DVD Digital Video Essentials, which is expected within a month. Of course, you would need an HD-DVD player to use this.
