Hey all, I am new to this forum and I'll say ahead of time that I am thankful for all the help!

I'm sure this has been talked about many times! But my questions is this!

I have a 22" LCD Monitor that supports vga and Dvi. It is a non HDCP monitor and I want to hook my PS3 up to it!

I have my xbox hooked up through it and it is amazing! I have heard about converter boxes and even a cable that will "strip" the HDCP and allow for a DVI connection-also heard it as "handshake"

Can anyone tell me how to accomplish my mission here? I just want my ps3 on my computer monitor and I want it to look great....just as good as the 360.

Thank you all for your help.

Does the ps3 require HDCP for games? If not, a DVI-HDMI adapter should work.

If you are using the PS3 over HDMI, it has to be HDCP tv or monitor. WHich sucks!

I have a hdmi to dvi d cable and it works great on my tv, but the monitor i the way I want to go

Your only option is HDMI-DVI if you have already tried it and don't have S-video then you are out of luck.

You can buy a Vdigi VD-Z3 (http://www.vdigi.com/index.php?option=content&task=blogsection&id=4&Itemid=27)

Then use a component cable from the PS3, and a VGA cable to your LCD. Works great.
