Purchased set back in august and was working flawlessly up until the past couple weeks. Randomly the set will just switch off into standby and display the red STANDBY LED. The set will power back on, within 10 seconds and everything seems fine.

Sometimes, more recently, I am getting a blinking code (blinking STANDBY and blinking LAMP) which the manual describes as representing a problem with the lamp cover. I have never touched the lamp cover or housing, but checked it out and it is firmly in place. I am getting ready to call samusng as I am still under warranty, but I was wondering if anyone else has had this kind of a problem on the HXX66W series.

Check that the lamp cover is fully actuating the interlock switch (which shuts down power to the set when not actuated). There's a tab on the inner side of the cover that actuates the switch. Make sure the tab isn't bent. Instructions on removing the cover are in your manual.

Well I completely removed the lamp cover and reinstalled it. We'll see if that has any effect.
