I am planning a new media room and need some help.

My room is 24'x22' most of the room has a vaulted ceiling but 1/3 of it has an 8' ceiling. The wall where the screen will go will mean i will have to suspend the projector from the top of the vault or build a enclosure on the back wall which is 22' away from the screen wall.

Am I going to have to purchase a long throw projector if i want to mount it on the back wall? I dont know how I feel about having the projector suspended from the vault in the ceiling.

Yes, you will need a long throw projector to mount on back wall. Do a search at projectorcentral.com to see which projectors will work.
