I'm considering purchasing a Playstation 3, and one of the questions I have is whether or not it has any type of screensaver? For example when a Bluray movie is paused or after the movie you're watching is finished.

you can set the time it will wait before the screensaver becomes active (movies need to be paused for the countdown to start) i have mine set to 5 mins. it dims the screen to a really dark contrast to protect the screen.
