we are not finding a GOM for the walls that is the color we are looking for. are there other alternatives? anything from dazian?

Dazian Expo Cloth has similar properties to GOM - - accoustic transparency, and fire treated. Limited color selection, lower price.

I stumbled onto this site yesterday. I can't tell if the fabrics are rebadged GOM or something different.

Your wall treatments absorb sound. You can use a lot of different cloths as alternatives to GoM. The wall fabric does not have to be perfectly transparent accoustically, only a proscenium wall needs to be. And even then, GoM isn't perfect, it's just "good enough". You can look at curtain fabrics as a good fire rated fabric with nice patterns and colors. You can even treat your own fabric to use in the room.

you treat your own and it is only good for a year though. i called a curtain place and they indicated taht their fabrics were not fire rated.
