Does anyone know whether the Directed Electronics DHHD-1000 table model ("Onyx") is actually available?

A trade magazine article in October said it would be available in December; iBiquity's website says January; and yet another source says "in the spring".

If anyone has any "direct" experience with this product, please share it.
