Hello I got my projector (PT-AE1000U) in and am finally testing it out.. should I be concerned that I have to have 1 leg set much higher than the other to get a straight image?
To put that differently, when the projector is level(flat) it projects a crooked image.
Is this normal?

Do you have to projector offset correct?
Is your screen wall plumb
Either could cause you to have to tilt the pj

Hoz bout your table tilt? Is your table level?
The table is level. the wall is flat.
I'm not sure what is meant by projector offset.

Amount of projector offset should be in your manual. It tells you how much of an angle the image comes out in relationship to lens and wall display. There's an offset on all projectors. But if you're saying that you have to place your projector off level to get a level picture on the screen that's different. A very slight adjustment may be acceptable-sounds like something(the lense)may have shifted in shipping. It's your call but check if the lense is loose-other than focus adjustment and throw. For such a machine-I know you don't want to-return for repair.

How many legs does it have. Is the projector supposed to ba a cetrtain distance above or below the screen such as an Optima HD81 or an Infocus. Does it have to be within the screen? Is it side to side tilt or front to back?
