i just got the hd1000u and i love it. i notice that no matter what format video i watch there is always a 1"-2" light border around the picture. is this light spill? and is this normal? the border is at the top bottom and sides...

This is just a stab in the dark but is it possible you have it zoomed out a little too far and the pic is reflecting off your screen's black border?
