Hey all - Picking up another set, because they are both on massive sales.. Problem is - I don't know which to choose:

1. LG DU42Px12x (42 plasma)

OR

2. Samsung LN-R409D (40 LCD)

gaming and PC hookup will be utilized mainly on here.. Plasma in store had a nicer image, and I'm liking the slightly larger screen - But unsure of the brand (LG no offense to any owners has always been the "company who makes those ultra cheap CD drives for PC's" to me..).. Samsung has the better name (IMO), has HDMI input for my STB, but no DVI connector, just VGA.

Unsure of what, if any widescreen modes they will support in PC modes..


Advice / Help PLEASE!! (And fast, because a decision needs to be made in next day or so, before the units are gone)...

Gaming and PC? LCD, then, especially if you won't be putting it in a darkened room.

Why do ya say that? The plasma unit has more PC oriented connectors (having the RGB(VGA) AND a DVI connector...
