This will probably sound bad, but I miss the days where developers used to have cheat codes for unlocking most of the stuff in a game. It seems like you never see those codes any longer. Sure you get a few that can unlock a few things.

Don't get me wrong I like to unlock my stuff as I play the game, but there are some games I doubt I will fully unlock since I am to busy playing other games. One game is Need for Speed Most Wanted. It would be nice to unlock all the cars and just play around with that game especially since my son (1st grader) is playing it and the car selection is very minimal since he can not beat the black list drivers.

If it is an EA game then you just might be able to purchase the unlock codes that were once included in games! Lucky you! (Sarcasm)

I agree games should include codes that unlock everything. Most games do. I guess that you're just out of luck with NFS: MW.

Isn't there a website that you can down-load other peoples' saved games?
(where the entire game is already unlocked?)

I could see how that would work on a PC, but not the 360.

I know about that site and use it now and then, but what I am talking about is having an Uber code in the game that unlocks everything. This can be handy especially if you are just renting the game and want to see some advanced levels or cars without having to put all the playtime in to open it all up. You could get stuck going past your due date.

No, I hear you. I don't have time or patience anymore to slog through long, grinding game sessions. "Win every race in record time to unlock this vehicle"......man, please! Maybe I could've done it before I had a job.

Or a wife.

Or a kid.

Or tendinitis.

I saw something at CC yesterday that would let oyu hook your PC to your XBox HDD so that way you can copy games saves back and forth. I have somethign similar for my ps2. I mean they have to be able to get on the PC somehow, how else do you think they get from the 360 to the website.

uhh, works pretty easy. you download the save, and use a data transfer kit.

LOL. I totally forgot about the transfer kit. I was thinking of something more advanced with a wireless network or something. Looks like I may need to buy a memory card and a transfer kit down the road.

i think there are kits that go in between the HD and the console too, if you dont want to buy a mem card.

That's the first I've heard of one of those. Do you know where we could find one? It would be very useful for us who would like to use custom rosters without having to buy a memory card.

they sell it at best buy. also has compatibiliy for mem cards, and original xbox mem cards...

i hadnt looked into it before, but from first glance i thought it plopped on top of the xbox, and then you put your hard drive on there, and it could stay there, but now i see you pull your hd out, but that might be better for ppl who dont have a pc near their xbox.

hopefully someone will learn how to strip DRM from HD rentals, then you could drop them onto your PC from the HDD after renting, strip the DRM so you can use the videos on your PC, etc.

of course if it's a rental, LEGALLY, you'd have to delete the file after the rental period was over. :)

ok, i went to best buy tonight, and they DO have one that goes on top of the 360, and under the hard drive, would work better that way if you have a pc nearby.

it's called the xsata
