I Just finished studing, running the electrical & speaker wire, and insulating my dedicated room. I've seen a lot of folks who have installed a Blue neon looking light around the ceiling. I LOVE THAT!!! How should I do mine????

Do I need to build a tray for it? If so what is the best way?

I used clear LED rope light from 1000bulbs.com. It has a bluish tint. The attached image shows the color on sky blue ceiling. The clear rope needs to be installed yet on the inner soffit. You can get an actual deeper blue LED rope light from them as well.

I also have yellow LED rope light installed on a separate zone of the Grafik Eye.

You can see the yellow rope light at Galaxy Theater (http://nightskypictures.com/theater/theater.htm)

As I have mentioned on other threads, the LED rope light is spendy initially but is much cheaper to run and generates much less heat and almost never burns out. It also works well with my Grafik Eye controller.

Is the LED rope light dimm-able by the Graphik eye? Do you need a transformer or something?

OX, how did you have your LED wired...did you put an outlet in the soffit? Do they dim?
