Interesting. The HD indicator in my SA8300HD EPG is not lit, and IIRC CBS hasn't mentioned HD in the 4:3 commercial promoting the Grammys.

Nope.. I have no interest in that show.

It never fails to amaze me that these huge networks spend so much money on an HD production and fail to advertise it as such. :D

I had no intention of DVRing the Grammys until you confirmed it was HD in this thread...

Very serious.

Though you may not know who The Police are, you definitely know their music.

Sting was originally the lead singer of The Police.

"Every Breath You Take" and "Roxanne" were two of the more popular The Police songs.

Sting is great, but he was really, really great with The Police.

EDIT:
Sorry, put a wrong song in there by The Talking Heads.

With a headline change, why can't this be the sticky? :D

It's like they expect the public to take HD for granted -- unless it's not there *cough*football*wheeze*

By the way, I noticed an "in HD" moniker on a CBS March Madness commercial. The commercial itself was in SD.

DirecTV's on-line guide also does not list it as HD, and its on-line guide is almost always correct.....one of the few times it missed the boat with this listing.

For one, if I need to find it in the future, my searches are easy.

I guess they have stop doing the host thing for the Grammys.... There wasn't a host last year either. The last person to host the Grammys was Queen Latifah in 2005...

a) Why is the Grammy thread closed?
b) Three of the top songs are by newcomers? What kind of nuttiness is this?
