Hi,
I am quite desperate. I donīt know what is happening to my PJ. I explain the problem:
The Lamp of my PJ turns off after more or less 20 min, and the powerlamp flashes red. After more or less 10 min I can turn it on again for 20 min. I thought that a vent is not working and i took the PJ to the support. They checked it and said that it is the lamp. They changed the lamp and tried it there and saied that everything is ok.
I installed it again, and the problem persists. So i took it again there. They plugged it in, and they tested it for 20 hours, and the PJ doesnīt turn off!!!!
BTW I have to say, that at home the PJ is installed on the ceeling, and it always worked in that exact installation.
BUT anyways, i bought longer screews, so that the PJ hangs more and has so more natural ventilation, but again it turns off after 20 min.
So i tried to put it on, without image, just the AC connected, and installed on the ceeling, and my surprise is that it doesnīt turn off!!!!!
So, i only just plugged in the DVD over s-video, and after 20 minutes it turns off!!!!!
So i thought that it was the PJ with image, and i put the PJ on the table and plugged in the DVD exactly the same, but it doesnīt turn off!!!! So, now i donīt know what it can be!!!
So resuming:
PJ on the ceeling WITHOUT source: WORKS
PJ on ceeling WITH source: TURNS OFF
PJ on table WITH source: WORKS
PJ on table WITHOUT source: WORKS
Again: This is new. The installation hasnīt changed! AND the lamp is brand new! AND the support checked the PJ and said that it is ok!!
SO strange. What can it be? It seems that it heats up only with source.
Really Strange. Anybody???
