Can any of you kind souls help me narrow the field a bit? If you had a $2500 budget and absolutely hated Sony (as I do). What LCD TV would you buy? I would like it to be 46" (I sit about 100 inches from the set) but 42" would be good if it meant a noticeably better quality picture. Would 1080p be worth it? I tend to believe I won't notice the difference from 720p and could use the extra few hundred dollars to buy a new receiver. Would it be better to wait for the new batch of LCD's coming out with better contrast ratios and 120Hz capabilities? Any comments are appreciated even if you're a Sony fanboy and want to flame me for hating on them :p
