I am just finishing up my first dedicated theater and this is my first post so bare with me. I need to have a 20" run with my HDMI is that going to present a quality problem or should I try to find another way to setup my componets?

I assume you meant 20' run? There is no problem, just buy a good quality cable from monoprice. There link is directly above in the sponser area.

I have a 30' cable from monoprice and no problems. Digital signals, unlike analog, will either work consistently or not you will notice drop outs. No quality degradation. Either great quality or frequent drop out. You should be fine with a 20 inch run or 20 foot run :D

I third mono price, I have 4 35' run's of hdmi not one problem with them!

Excellent quality and even better price.
