Hello All!
I have a Comcast DVR / TV issue that started AFTER installing and operating a wireless network adapter in a nearby personal computer.
The issue is that the live TV is BLANK (no TV picture or sound) when first turning on Comcast Motorola Dual-tuner DVR (DCT6412) and TV. The only way to get the live tv on is to select 'My DVR', after which the TV picture and sound for live TV come on just fine.
If the PC with the wireless card is off, the DVR and TV come on and work fine (in other words, I select 'all on' on the remote and the DVR box and TV come on fine, usually on channel 8).
The 'blank' screen issue only occurs when the personal PC with wireless card is on. Note: PC is in another part of the house, unrelated or unconnected to the TV or DVR.
Has anyone heard about this issue or know a solution?
